iXensor PixoTest POCT Lipid Analyzer shows reliable results compared to the laboratory examinations

  • The study of one hundred and twenty (120) independent participants, showed that total cholesterol (TC), Triglycerides (TG), and high-density cholesterol (HDL) evaluations, for both Venous blood (VB) and capillary blood (CB) specimen samples had 100% accuracy within 15% absolute bias in comparison to laboratory method (Roche Cobas c111)
  • The PixoTest POCT System, measured TC, TG, and HDL with one sample specimen in a single test, drastically simplified the evaluation of patient blood lipid levels.

The latest clinical study, Performance Evaluation of a New Mobile POC lipids Analyzer(1), published in the Journal of Medical and Biological Engineering (JMBE), proved that PixoTest POCT Lipid Analyzer had an accuracy comparable to laboratory method ( Roche Cobas c111).

The paper indicated that the PixoTest® POCT System was capable of conducting accurate and reliable lipid measurements in the Point-Of-Care setting to increase healthcare efficacy and efficiency. Furthermore, PixoTest® POCT System overcame disadvantages such as the source of blood sample and inaccuracy when compared to laboratory examinations by existing POC devices in the market.
