The General Data Protection Regulation (\u201cGDPR\u201d), effective from May 25 2018, is a new European Union (\u201cEU\u201d) regulation that imposes\u202fmore stringent requirements on companies\u202fthat collect, store or process the personal data of EU residents. Any company that holds personal data of EU residents is accountable under the GDPR, regardless of the company\u2019s physical location. The definition of \u201cpersonal data\u201d under the GDPR is very broad and effectively covers any information that may identify an individual.<\/p>\n

In recognition of the new GDPR legislation take effect on 25 May 2018, iXensor has appointed an internal, cross-functional team and a dedicated Data Protection Officer to take necessary steps to ensure compliance with all applicable data privacy laws and is fully committed to protecting the personal data of its clients and reassure that our robust procedures and systems will continue to safeguard sensitive data.<\/p>\n

Because of GDPR, policies and procedures in iXensor have been implemented and amended. These changes include, but are not limited to, policies relating to data processing, information security, transition, third party processors, data protection and breach notification. We also have made changes to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy; meanwhile, all iXensor employees have been required to complete additional data privacy and security training that is GDPR focused.<\/p>\n

What iXensor has done to protect you?<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n In our role as a data controller, we are responsible for implementing appropriate measures to ensure and demonstrate that any data processing is performed in compliance with GDPR. Our data controller obligations relate to principles such as lawfulness, fairness and transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, and accuracy, as well as fulfilling data subjects\u2019 rights with respect to their data. We also enter into contractual agreements with our processors together with only using data processors that operate in such a manner that their data processing also meet the requirements of GDPR.<\/p>\n Your Rights<\/strong><\/p>\n You have the right at any time to access, rectify, modify or delete any information held about you. You have the right to object to us processing your personal information if we are not entitled to use it any more or have its processing restricted in certain circumstances.
