iXensor ventured into a radically decentralized telemedicine journey for at-home rapid flu testing with Startup Creasphere

PixoTest Influenza Rapid Test

TAIPEI, TAIWAN / SINGAPORE – November 25th, 2020 – iXensor Co., Ltd. (6734.TWO)

Backed by two pharmaceutical giants Roche, Sanofi and organized by Plug and Play, the Startup Creasphere Program selected iXensor to join its three-month digital health accelerator program, which aimed for transforming healthcare together.

In this first Startup Creasphere APAC batch, iXensor has seized the prestigious ecosystem of innovation and teamed up with the pharmaceutical company to craft out a patient-centric and radically decentralized healthcare model. The model will potentially offer people with suspected influenza a at-home testing solution directly on their smartphones, and it can easily integrate remote medical consultation and telemedicine upon it.

iXensor has worked with the Creasphere Program to evaluate this revolutionary concept’s technical feasibility and market’s desirability to get a clearer picture of how this model should be moved forward in the right direction. This pilot project in South Korea provided iXensor valuable market insights to enhance the patient journey across the continuum of care for iXensor’s international expansion.

The CEO of iXensor, Dr. Carson Chen commented, “The COVID-19 pandemic has expedited the changes of healthcare services at an unprecedented speed globally. As the pioneer in the mobile health sector, iXensor’s core PixoTech technology platform, which turns smartphones into the medical-grade self-testing tool, can definitely play as an essential enabler for pharmaceutical companies to advance their digital health strategy and to innovate their commercial operation models.”
